★★★☆☆ Bismilah ar Rahman ar Raheem. I just visited this masjid today for the second time. The masjid is very beautiful, mashAllah, and clean. However, the practices of the people attending the masjid the masjid left more to be desired...only one sister out of the ten or so there for Asr greeted me with salaam. I greeted other sisters with salaams only to be ignored and looked at like I was crazy! SubhanAllah!! No greetings of salaam in a masjid ?! There is also a strange practice of congregational dua and dhikr after the salah...I've never seen this done elsewhere and I'm not sure if that is a sunnah. I know this is a Sufi masjid, so maybe that is a Sufi practice, but as a follower of the sunnah, I didn't feel comfortable participating, so I promptly left (everyone else stayed). I also noticed the sisters don't wear full hijab to pray-most of them leave their necks exposed. Again, perhaps that is a Sufi "thing". Overall, I gave this masjid 3 stars only because of the clean facilities and beautiful dome. I know I won't be back to this masjid ever again, in sh Allah. If you are a follower of the sunnah I would steer clear of this masjid. May Allah Subhanah Wa Ta'ala forgive me if I am in error. Posted on December 24, 2015

★★★★★ This is a very friendly and welcoming mosque! When we visited, we were given a tour and offered refreshments. Isha was well attended with a very diverse congregation and ample space for men and women. The masjid is clean inside and beautifully decorated on the inside and outside with Quranic ayats. Along with Jumma and the five daily prayers, this masjid also has dhikr sessions and milad-un-nabi celebrations. Posted on April 8, 2010

★★★★★ This is the mosque that I have come to visit regularly. Alhamdulillah I had my Nikah there just this past January. I find the Imam to be thorough, and knowlegable, and the whole fellowship community is very warm and welcoming. The Mosque is open for all 5 prayers and also offer other events as well. ★★★★☆ Beautiful mosque. It seems to be mostly a school or event-type building, the prayer area is quite small. Women pray behind a lace barrier. Very friendly and open community. The mosque is in a very nice neighborhood, the area is clean. Posted on January 9, 2006

★★★★☆ I visited this mosque for Eid ul Fitr weekend one year. It is a relatively small mosque. Men and women pray in the same room. Women occupy one small corner of the mosque and sit in a lace curtained enclosure. The mosque was packed each time I prayed there and it was soon pretty stifling in the women's space because it is so small and enclosed and there was little space in which to move. The men's situation seemed better. Visibility was low from the women's section but all could hear the imam as it is such a small masjid. The mosque community is very warm and welcoming of outsiders and tolerant of a range of perspectives. Many of the regulars are converts. Sisters were very friendly. The khutbah was in English, but the imam (a revert) appeared to also have a good command of Arabic and to be knowledgeable. For Eid the mosque community set up huge food tents and fed anyone who came (biryani, curries, desserts) for free and gave children little goodie bags as well.
