Al-Husein N. Madhany is a Summer Lecturer in Arabic at Georgetown University and a doctoral student in the Department of Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations, at the University of Chicago, where he studies classical Islamic history and thought. Since 2001, he has served as an Arabic technology consultant to hundreds of individuals, private organizations, and university departments. Presently, al-Husein serves on the editorial board for LangSource, a searchable online database for Arabic language and cultural resources that can be used by both teachers and learners at all levels.
