I have a life that is stranger than fiction. I am the product of a Black/Cherokee Vietnam Vet who ran an escort service and one of his white employees. I am college educated, and in many ways a success story. Insha'Allah I will become more successful as I get more on the deen. I am a DC and Philly Native, work in NY now and live in NJ. I am Muslim by birth, faith, and choice, and Jewish by my maternal grandmother's lineage. My main struggle with staying on the deen insha'Allah is that I'm an artist and musician and writer who's about to have her script produced, and also women hate me; not the dress code. I stick to myself a lot. My main strength is that I am humble and empathetic and painfully aware that I am anything but Allah.
