This mosque began as a community of 27 people who offered prayers in a small, rented apartment. In 1993, nine acres of land were purchased. A small Christian church building on the property was converted into the new mosque.

NR I came here for Jumu'a today. The masjid was full to capacity, though they have a second Jumu'a as well. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The imam spoke on a relevant topic and his recitation in salaah was also very good
★★★★★ This is a Amazing Mosque in Charlotte and it provides services for all the 5 prayers and also have weekend Islamic School.There are 2 Qutba's for Jumma and plenty of parking space available .Its a neat clean Mosque. The Imam of the mosque Shaik Bassm have beautiful voice. Recently the mosue Hired 2 Quari's Shaik Syed and Shaik Marhoom and they are supposed to be one of the best recieters in the country . If I get an opportunity to goto Charlotte any time I would definately visit this place.
