The Islamic Center of Anaheim strives to exemplify the true Islamic values and methodologies of compassion, moderation, and knowledge for the population of Southern California. Helping the Muslim community in southern California in many aspects of life and religion. The Islamic Center of Anaheim organizes a variety of Islamic celebrations and events, Ramadan programs, and religious lectures. It also operates a weekend, and a full time Islamic school. Unique among US mosques, the Islamic Center of Anaheim follows a school of thought that believes the qibla to be southeast rather than northeast. One of the brothers mentioned that they called Ahbash, doesn’t mean to say they not Sunni, one has to watch his words since he will be asked about it. Q: Who is burning the entire Arabic and Muslim world the Wahabies or Ahbash? Never warn from those who spread the religion and teaching of Muhammad peace be upon him and among them this people as I found out today. |

| | ★ This masjid is very misleading because it is listed on here as Sunni. It should be changed. It does not face the qibla on purpose. It is NOT Sunni! They belong to a sect called Al-Ahbash which is a Sufi movement started in Ethiopia in the 80s. Stay away... |

| | NR The qibla at this masjid points south-east/ east. At first I thought they made a mistake. When I spoke to the Shaikh, he confirmed they don't pray north-east, and don't believe northeast is the correct direction for prayer. It didn't feel right to me so I prayed north east anyway (the way almost every other masjid in north america prays) |

| | ★★★★★ ma sha'Allah, this musala is the best. everyone there is so nice and helpful, the musala is big enough to accommodate anyone who comes, the shiekh there is very, very knowledgeable and there are lectures and khutbas in english and Arabic. there are Arabic, Qur'an, and Religious lessons and there is also a full time school for your children that is approved by the California state and reconized to have some of the top students come out from it. they also have a saturday school for the children and other activities. not only that, i went to one of their ^Eid festavels, i had so much fun. i took the family and went there, everyone had fun, the food is great, the kids can play, and you meet a lot of really nice people. i have never been to a mosque here in california that is better than this one. may Allah protect it and the people running it |
