★★★★☆ Great mosque. They have parking on the street and in a small lot.
There is a separate women's area, which is attached to a room for children. They have a baby sitter there during tarawih. However, the kids are pretty noisy and the TV in that room is sometimes on very loud. The women's prayer room is a little messy and dirty.. I'm guessing because of all the kids playing there and running around.
Women also pray at the back of the main hall, which is much nicer.
It would nicer if the women's washrooms were cleaner during Tarawih. Posted on August 4, 2013
★★★★☆ Very nice masjid. Attended many Jumu'ah prayers here. They rotate imams every week, so you get a different style khutbah weekly. Posted on January 23, 2012
★★★★☆ This is a recently renovated mosque inside the 610 loop. There is bus access and the new Richmond rail line will run nearby. The facilities are clean and well designed. Women pray in a separate room with a glass partition allowing a view of the main hall, as well as in the rear of the main hall without a barrier (although the men sometimes put of plastic folding chairs as a delineation). There is a classroom and a hall where dinners are frequently held. The congregation is relatively small and consists mainly of Arabic speakers. Insha' Allah, the convenient location will begin to attract more people of different backgrounds. The imam is very kind and sometime gives a short talk after regular prayers, not just a Friday Khutbah. Posted on March 24, 2009
