Al Siraat College, a co-educational school of the Islamic denomination is being established in Epping, to serve the needs of the Islamic Community in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Starting in 2009 with classes from lower primary, the intention is for the school to grow to a complete K-12 facility that will become an important educational and spiritual centre for the community. Central to the school is a place of worship that will act as a daily community hub and provide facilities and educational opportunities for students, parents and the broader community.
