Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center (AAIC) was initiated in 1998 to help meet the needs of the Muslim community in the Twin Cities in particular, and Minnesota in general. The current building was purchased on July 29, 2005, and the mosque was officially opened on September 1, 2006. The first floor accommodates the prayer hall for both men and women, main offices of the organization, and the bookstore.
