★★★★★ Beautiful and large spacious masjid. Nice bookstore inside too, and parking is great (on non-Jummah days at least). Went during a snowy day and found they combined the prayers. Posted on March 12, 2015 |

★★★★★ masha'Allah masha'Allah masha'Allah. This masjid is amazing. Attended jummah here and it was wonderful. The khutbah is in Arabic since it is predominately Arab, but still a wonderfully organized masjid with plentiful parking and space. Posted on March 17, 2014 |

★★★★★ Simply put, I love this masjid. This is definitely one of the most welcoming and organized masjid in the US and perhaps some think I'm exaggerating but attend the masjid and you'll see. May Allah (swt) keep this masjid amazing insha'Allah Posted on April 30, 2013 |

★★★★☆ This is the largest Sunni masjids in the area and one of the most active communities in New Jersey (maybe the east coast). Note that 'Asr is prayed at the earlier Shaafi'i time. The community is predominantly Arab, majority Palestinian - lectures and khutbas are usually delivered in Arabic but translations are usually provided -- for Jummah via wireless headsets which are free to borrow. ★★★★☆ Asalamualaikum,
This mosque is MashAllah very organized. The Ramadan here is great but not as good as Mecca/Madinah of course. But I commend the staff and Shaykh Qatanani on making this a welcoming atmosphere of all races. The headphone system for non arabic speaking worshippers is a great system for people like myself to understand the programs and announcements. I am very happy to be a member of this congregation. ★★★★☆ There is a large parking lot here. The main prayer space is wheelchair accessible. There are several groups of bathrooms.
There are two women's areas in this masjid: one is a barrier or rope divided one behind the men (the barrier is a portable wall). During the regular prayers and for halaqas, women pray here. In addition, there is a large glass encased, sound proof cry-room upstairs for Jumu'ah and 'Eid. This is where the women's bathrooms are.
This masjid has a great halaqa for women in English on Fridays, and has many other programs. Eid is a little hectic. I've been to 'Eid here a few times and did not like the atmosphere (a lot of women talking over the khutbah, the usual hectic rush for free toys and sweets).
There is a bookstore in the main hall that sells tapes, videos / dvds, and books in Arabic as well as a nice selection of English books. There are some hijabs, prayer garments, and jilbabs for sale as well (displayed in the cry room). Posted on March 23, 2007 |
