★★★★★ MOMIN Center is the main place for DFW's Shia community. They have a sunday school for kids and the Aalim they call for different events are normally pretty educated. Posted on November 20, 2010
★★★★☆ As a revert, it first took a while for people to come up to me, but those who did were very friendly and I was even able to constantly get a ride from several that regularly attend. A lot of the people there are mostly in it for cultural reasons (as another person put it, to drink chai, speak Urdu, and eat Pakistani food), but the sincere mominin make it well worth it.
In my opinion, too much Urdu, despite the fact that almost everyone speaks English, and a significant minority (Persians and reverts) don't speak Urdu. Posted on March 12, 2006
