NONDENOMINATIONAL The Muslim Law Student Association is dedicated to exploring Islamic legal issues and bringing a greater understanding of Islam and the legal profession to all members of Roger Williams School of Law and the community. MLSA’s purpose is to provide for the religious and cultural needs of Muslim law students and promote the participation of all students through a diverse program of activities. The organization also strives to articulate and promote the professional needs and goals of Muslim Law Students, foster and encourage professional competence, focus upon the relationship of the Muslim Law Student Association with a focus on creating a greater connection to other religious, political and social groups, awareness and commitment to the needs of the Muslim community, as well as to influence the legal community to bring out meaningful change to meet the needs of the entire community.
