Bowdoin's MSA strives to promote knowledge, awareness, and understanding of Islam and it's followers throughout campus in order to develop a community of tolerance and appreciation for diversity. Our mission is based on the conviction that we're all brothers and sisters in humanity. We hope to bring together people with different levels of Islamic faith and other faith traditions by promoting a non-judgmental and welcoming atmosphere. We aspire to build and strengthen the Muslim community on campus by establishing events, activities, and programs that will appeal to future students. Our mission is to not only provide the foundation with which future members can build, but also make Bowdoin a "home away from home" for all Muslims.
