Daar Ibn Abbas (a part of Islamic Education Institute Inc.) was named after the renowned companion of the Prophet Muhammad (May the Peace and blessing of Allah be upon Him), Ibn Abbas. Ibn Abbas had a crucial role in the memorisation of the Holy Quran and Prophetic Guidance (hadith) and the transmission of its meanings and teachings through successive generations.
