SUNNI MKJM (formerly known as Bletchley Mosque) was established in 1976 from the purchase of a house at 52 Duncombe Street, which led to the purchase of number 50 and later 48 Duncombe St to expand the MKJM further. The back gardens of the three houses was later cleared and slabbed to convert them into an open courtyard to accomodate the worshippers on Jumuah and Eid days when MKJM is full. There is also a Marquee which has been put up which serves different purposes such as additional prayer space, an eating area and other functions. Currently there is no prayer area for women, but Inshallah this is in the future plans of MKJM. There is no car parking facility within the MKJM grounds due the masjid being in a residential area with a busy main road, but there is a large pay and display car park closeby near Sainsbury's which will cost you 1 for all day parking. MKJM is in the heart of Bletchley and its community, which has a good muslim population who come and use MKJM for prayers and other religious activities. it provides good facilities for islamic education, prayer facilities, Islamic talks and also has seen many scholars and respected speakers from around the world.
