The Muslim Students' Association of Binghamton University is a cultural student organization which strives to help educate the campus community about the religion of Islam as a complete way of life. We strive to dispel myths and misconceptions regarding Islam by providing information, insight, and general knowledge about Islam, Muslims, and the Muslim World. The MSA also serves as a support group for Muslims within the campus and surrounding community by providing programs and activities to assist the Muslim student in practicing his or her faith. We are actively engaged in community service and provide a helping hand at Islamic and non-Islamic events throughout the Binghamton and Vestal areas. The MSA sponsors various activities ranging from weekly general meetings, lectures, banquets, trips, as well as specialized activities during Ramadhan, fundraising efforts with other groups on campus, as well as the celebration and commemoration of other special occasions. Membership in the MSA is open to all students, regardless of religion, race, creed, color, or gender.
