The Islamic Association of Bunbury has started its journey nearly 15 years ago to propmote better understanding, fellow feelings among muslims of South Western region of Western Australia. In the beginning the activities of the association was confined among muslims of Coco's and Chrismas island's origin, but now the association have become a true multicultural body representing muslims from Australia, Malyasia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Iran, Iraq, South Africa, Afghanistan, Guinea Republic, Ghana and other countries.
