SUNNI There is no denying the fact that seeking education and learning is an obligation upon every Muslim. However, the purpose behind acquisition of education should be to enable the seeker to become a better believer in terms of values, beliefs, knowledge and action so as to be able to effectively demonstrate the truthfulness of the Divine Message to the rest of the world.
Unfortunately, it is observed that whereas the graduates of traditional Islamic madrasas are well-versed in religious knowledge and carry a spiritual consciousness, they are found lacking in modern education and learning in order to meet the demands of time; and students studying in the public school system, although receive a modern education, exhibit a dire need for understanding the basic principles of Islam and the role faith plays in every day life.
The North American Muslim Foundation (NAMF) Islamic Academy seeks to bridge this gap at the very onset of personality development of a child. Our approach is an all-inclusive integrated approach in terms of school curriculum, administration and teacher's training and instruction.
Furthermore, we are strongly committed towards nurturing a personality imbued with high Islamic ideals and character in mutual partnership with parents and the community. NAMF Islamic Academy is strongly geared towards creating future community leaders and model representatives of Islam.
