Jamaat Al-Mumineen became registered by the state of Florida on November 6, 1995. Shortly after the Masjid became official in the state of Florida, Imam Rustam from Brooklyn, NY joined our congregation. ★★★★★ I visited this masjid while on vacation but missed the actual prayer. Considering that it was a random weeknight, the attendance was very strong. The parking lot was packed with brothers and sisters socializing after prayer and it seemed like a very diverse group. The custodian of the masjid kindly unlocked the door so I could pray - the masjid itself is clean and well-kept and has a ping-pong table on its patio! As I left, the brothers who waited to lock up the masjid after I was finished informed me of the prayer times and invited me to return again soon. Friendly masjid! Posted on December 5, 2012
