Previously known as the The Islamic Center of Statesboro. Jummah is at 1:30 pm. The Islamic Center of Statesboro began in 1990 when a small group of Georgia Southern University students and professors reserved a room on campus to gather for Jumaa and Taraweeh prayers. The Muslim community has since grown and flourished, requiring several moves. Though we have once again outgrown our surroundings, our goal is to continue to provide a sense of community and spiritual nourishment for the Muslims of Statesboro and the surrounding area.
