Ash-Shaheed Islamic Center has been associated with WD Muhammad since 1975. The community began in 1989 in community members' homes. As the community grew, they began to worship in a gym. ★★★★★ I stopped here to pray with my family on a Sunday to pray Maghrib. Though there weren't many people there because of New Year's day, I was told that the masjid was usually packed, mA.
The people were EXTREMELY welcoming, alhamdulillah! They even went out of their way to strike a conversation with my mother and offer her and my family anything if we needed it. They gave us a tour of the masjid and told us how they're really trying to work for a better tomorrow for the youth of their community.
