Brighter Horizon School of Baton Rouge is the only full-time Islamic school, approved by the State Board of Education, in the State of Louisiana. The school started in 1994 by utilizing three rooms in the Islamic Center of Baton Rouge. Due to the dramatic increase in the number of student we had to expand, so in 1996, by Allah Grace, we purchased the current building. We offer a quality curriculum covering the academic objectives required by the state (including English, Reading, Math, Social Studies and Science) and offer Arabic as a foreign language, Quran and Islamic Studies.
