★★★★★ Just want to inform you all this IS a SUNNI masjid.
It has just moved to the building behind it ..the old unit has now been rented out to another sect of muslims ...hence the dawoodi bohra confusion. The address is 9833 Markham Rd. (hwy 48) they have unit 9 and 10 for men and women (Sisters enter on the North east side..brothers enter South west side of building. 5 times daily Salat ,Jummah (Friday) prayers, Evening madrassa for both boys and girls under the age of 12, Weekly Quran tafseer program for Brothers and Sisters every Friday after Maghrib salat. ★★★★☆ At present it is a temporary arrangement in a Unit in a plaza 10 Fincham (first right on 16th Ave past Markham rd / Hwy48. Enterance to plaza is from Fincham. Fortunately the masjid has a very learned, unbiased English speaking imam. Children madressa in evening is over capacity which the committee is trying to overcome. A very good facility for muslims North of 407 with nearest intersection being 16th ave and Hy 48 / Ninth Line / Hwy 7 / Major Mac / Markham By pass for all new developments. Posted on April 26, 2007
