The NYIT MSA is an on campus organization that serves the needs of Muslims and its community. The attainment of practical knowledge of Islam, the fostering of amiable relations with fellow students, the promotion of academic responsibility, and the provision of a social atmosphere of unity and harmony are the guiding principles of this organization. The NYIT MSA meets weekly on Thursdays in Anna Rubin hall, room 314 (Old Westbury campus). Lecture events, taleems, sporting and gaming events, social services, basic workshops and classes are some of the few activities that the NYIT MSA organizes throughout the school year.
