Interfaith chapel in airport terminal A, across from Gate A-30, especially good for Friday prayers (scheduled at 1:30 pm). Added on October 22, 2010 and last updated 4 years ago
NR I went to Dulles airport to pick up family. I asked the lady at the desk if there is prayer room for Muslims and she said no but told me there is prayer space for travelers after they go through security checks...etc. anyone has more information about this? Posted on August 6, 2015
ADMIN RESPONSE
This is true - the chapel is located beyond security and is therefore only open to travelers en route.
★★★★★ There is no musallah inside the airport. I asked the information desk today and they said either pray in a corner or go to Concourse A and pray in the chapel. I came to Concourse A, across gate A30, there is the chapel and in it, there is a space to pray with prayer mats and qurans and the whole bit. Alhumdull'illah it is just right for the purpose. ★★★★★ It is awesome that Dulles Airport provides a facility for travelers to pray. Please make use of it so they know it was the right decision. Inshallah we can get all ariports across the country to keep prayer halls and rooms for people (of all faiths to use). Posted on January 21, 2011
