★★★★★ They run a full-time school, and have all the services you Posted on January 16, 2020 |

★☆☆☆☆ Please, be aware that this is NOT a Sunni or Jamat Ahl-Wa Sunnah Masjid or Mosque contrary to their claims made by their proponents here on Yelp as well as on their propaganda web-sites. In order to buy legitimacy and clout, they misuse the name of Jamat Ahl-Wa Sunnah. This place, in fact, belongs to Association of Islamic Charitable Projects (AICP) which is a front organization of the Al-Ahbash, a sect which follows the teachings of their Sheikh Abdullah al-Harari who blended Sunni and Shi'a theology with Sufi spiritualism. The AICP claims to run its Islamic schools being affiliated with Al-Azhar, a claim which has been denied by Al-Azhar. In addition to excessive use of Takfir (the act of declaring another Muslim an unbeliever), rejection of anthropomorphism and syncreticism, the Al-Ahbash also pray using the South-east direction in Canada and the United State, in order to cause Fitnah (sedition) and inner-Islamic tensions, versus majority of the Muslims who pray towards Qiblah (Mecca) using the North-east direction in their mosques. In a nutshell, the Al-Ahbash are seen as being controversial and their beliefs are seen as heretical by majority of the mainstream Sunni Muslims. Please, stay away from this place if you are a Sunni Muslim. Thank you. Posted on October 7, 2016 |

★★★★★ Don’t know what some brothers here talking about, went to this Masjid today beautiful speech from a very qualified and knowledgeable Shaykh his words touches the heart, not like many other places around. One of the brothers mentioned that they called Ahbash, doesn’t mean to say they not Sunni, one has to watch his words since he will be asked about it. Q: Who is burning the entire Arabic and Muslim world the Wahabies or Ahbash? Never warn from those who spread the religion and teaching of Muhammad peace be upon him and among them this people as I found out today. Posted on January 3, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ This masjid is very misleading because it is listed on here as Sunni. It should be changed. It does not face the qibla on purpose. It is NOT Sunni! They belong to a sect called Al-Ahbash which is a Sufi movement started in Ethiopia in the 80s. Stay away... Posted on September 29, 2013 |

NR I don't think that they are sunni. Their qibla is different from the muslims .I think theY are .ahbash. I recommend not to pray theire if possible. Posted on January 2, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Why is there qiblah pointing East? Posted on April 18, 2012 |

NR The qibla at this masjid points south-east/ east. At first I thought they made a mistake. When I spoke to the Shaikh, he confirmed they don't pray north-east, and don't believe northeast is the correct direction for prayer. It didn't feel right to me so I prayed north east anyway (the way almost every other masjid in north america prays) Posted on October 4, 2011 |
