SUNNI IFSF started its operations in a rented facility which was later purchased in 1991. It was soon realized that the growing needs and rapid expansion of the community would not be able to be accommodated in the 9500 sq.ft facility. A prime piece of 11.5 acres land close to the present facility became available and was purchased in 1999. The plans were developed for full campus of buildings including full time school, Masjid for over 1000 people, an auditorium, commercial building, over 200 parking spaces, outside play grounds, basketball courts and picnic area. The vision of IFSF is to continue enhancing our services for the educational, religious, and social needs of the whole Muslim community. Currently, the IFSF operates a masjid and full-time school, including Friday-evening only school for kids, weekend school, and adult education. Two full-sized soccer fields (with goals and lines) as well as volleyball court are on site. Childrens' playground is located directly behind prayer hall. Activities include full-time school related and community events. Added on January 11, 2009 and last updated 9 years ago |

★★☆☆☆ There is mixing and mingling of men and women here. Some women where entering the masjid through the men\'s door and congregating outside the men\'s entrance. Several women were uncovered. Someone went on the microphone, while people were praying, and starting talking about things. Posted on April 23, 2023 |

★★★★★ Great masjid MashaAllah. Located right off sawgrass expressway. This masjid has a very diverse and friendly community. The imam is very knowledgable and cares for the community. Many speakers come here since it is in a central location. Alhamdulillah. Posted on July 14, 2015 |

★★★★★ This is a kind of Masjid that you wish you would have in every Muslim neighborhood.Very Organized, systematic and huge Masjid with sprawling gardens. Its varied ethnicity with Indian,Pakistani and Arabs in the Mix. They still owe quite a bit of money for their purchase, so its our Obligation to support the Masjid. They have great Iftar and Dinner in Ramadan. I am looking to see them expand the Mussallah and Wudu areas once their Loan Obligation is re-payed. Posted on July 26, 2013 |

★★★★★ Beautiful masjid, the sort of masjid one would expect to see in a Muslim country. As a tourist passing through, I stopped by for isha on a Friday night and found the masjid to be packed - there was a dinner being held for the returning hajjis and evening classes being held for kids. Plenty of brothers and sisters present and a few of them gave me a tour of the facility - ample prayer space for brothers and sisters, classrooms (used for a full-time school, evening classes, and a sunday school) soccer fields, sand volleyball courts, a cricket pitch, a playground, and a plot for a new prayer space. The masjid has picnic tables on a nice patio for community meals with fountains....I could go on. This seems like a very active masjid with full family participation and a vision for the future. ★★★★★ I attend this masjid for Juma'h and my daughter attends school at the full-time Islamic school. The brand-new masjid, including the new Imam, Yahya Ederer, are phenomenal. The Pre-K-8 School (Salah Tawfik Elementary and Middle School), has over 150 students, plenty of teachers and small sized classes, including all standard subjects plus Islamic Studies and Arabic. Excellent quality education. Posted on March 16, 2009 |
