Masjid Zumratul Jannat was established in 1994 by buying part of an office building. The community began in the early 1990s as a part of Masjid Al-Razzaq, a primarily Nigerian masjid. As they grew and diversified, the need was felt to separate to a place where the vision and aims were not as centralized around particular ethnic needs.
