The Islamic Society of Augusta provides Muslims with Islamic education and facilities to practice their religion. We Muslims have a duty to apply our knowledge to help our families, our Muslim community and our country. American Muslims share with other American citizens the responsibility to participate in the democratic process. To participate in the public life of a democracy, citizens have to use their rights and to discharge their responsibilities with the necessary knowledge and skills.
