Opened in 2003, the Mosque of Granada is composed of three main, contrasting elements. These are the garden, the prayer hall (which is properly speaking the mosque itself) and the Centre for Islamic Studies.

Amazed by the spirit of the locals, trying to build up Islam in Granada after alhambra being taken by other forces.
You can see alhambra clearly from this mosque and take some pictures.
Location of this mosque is quite hard to find. In your GPS, just type Estrellas de San Nicolas and you can see the mosque from this building. Road going to this mosque is very narrow so you should use small car to travel.

★★★★★ I went to this masjid for Jummah a couple of times. It is a beautiful masjid with an active community (predominantly Muslims from North Africa). Believe it or not, this masjid which opened in 2003 was the first masjid in Granada since the Alambra was conquered and shut down !!
