★★★★☆ Spacious Masjid on several acre lot located between Lee Hwy and Braddock Road. Close to George Mason University. Large parking gated lot. Inside it’s has high ceilings with balcony section for women. Over 20 carpeted long rows. Clean well maintained wadu and toilet facilities. Open 7 days for all 5 prayers. Two Jummah salaats are offered plus multiple prayers on Eid day. Masha Allah.
Please donate generously so the
Masjid management and board has to offer basement for event rentals. Posted on July 23, 2019 |

★★★★★ The basement of the masjid is consider the house of Allah. Its not appropriate for the management to make the money of renting out the masjid for parties etc. may Allah guide us all Posted on February 4, 2016 |

★☆☆☆☆ I absolutely agree with the last comment.
This masjid was built in 90,s and the founder was one Pakistani brother. When he was making the masjid, he included the basement area( where parties take place) part of the masjid. In islamic teachings , once the masjid has been built , it neither can be sold nor can be used for something else , till the dooms day. One can ask islamic scholars for verification. Another big aspect is, a women who is in her menstrual period , she cannot enter the masjid. Entering with the shoes is unimaginable . The place cannot be rent out ever.BUT , at the basement of this masjid ,unfortunately all these things are taking place and further more. ( i.e yearly festivals, wedding parties etc) . The reason , there is a new management. Its the son of the founder who has fired his Father and took hold of the management. Anyways , this issue is really serious and need to be brought into their attention. Whoever resolves this matter , will be getting big reward from ALLAH . It is the matter of all the muslims , whoever is participating in that activity is getting sin and it goes all to the shoulder of the person in charge . Posted on March 13, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ One important point to discuss about this masjid is, I went there last month for a wedding party which was taking place in the basement area of the masjid. There was a partition in the middle, which was the excitement for me but i was very disappointed when it came to my knowledge that , the basement area is part of the masjid. I was very shocked that how can a muslim degrade himself by keeping a party in the house of ALLAH where people are walking with their shoes and sometimes there is a mix gathering. In reality the entire responsibility lies upon the people who run the masjid, the management. I would humbly request to the management to take into consideration as it is not something to be overlooked because if not here , you will be in big trouble hereafter. May ALLAH give us all ability to obey ALLAH,S commands wherever we might be and whoever we may be. AMEEN Posted on March 6, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Great masjid. Uncles can be loud and intimidating. Place needs younger leadership to help reap the benefits of such a great space. Posted on August 12, 2014 |

★★★★☆ I went here for Jummah prayer. I missed the first Jummah (which is in English) so I went to the second one (knowing it is in Urdu.) Personally, I think both Jummahs, all lectures and classes should be in English (unless it is an Arabic language or Qu'ran class) as the method of communication should be in the local language of the land. The masjid was quite large and has beautiful architecture (both inside and outside). There is plenty of parking too. Posted on February 5, 2011 |

★★★★★ Excellent jummah prayer with solid, logic based khutbah. Attendees seemed friendly. Mostly Indo/Pak. If you don't speak Urdu, it could be challenging. Posted on December 4, 2010 |

★★★★★ There are two timings for jummah salat 12:00 is the English khutbah and 1:15 is the Urdu one (which still had a good amount of English explaining the Urdu content) but I would check the website for the latest status. The bathrooms and wudu areas were large and clean. The masjid is well kept and very clean and beautifully made. It was a bit confusing to find your way but people are helpful. After jummah they had lunch available. Parking is not an issue at all, ample parking available and a huge overflow lot in case as well. Posted on November 22, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ I went here for Eid salat. Everything was in Urdu and I mean everything. The masjid is very nice and clean but they honestly need to have things available in english. Posted on December 9, 2008 |

★★★★★ Me and husband went there for the first today and I had to wonder why we haven't been there before! This is a beautiful mosque, it's so close to my house (in Fairlakes) and was not at all over-crowded and over-flowing with screaming children.
It was a very nice experience praying Tarawi there and I'll definitely be going there more often inshaAllah.
God bless the people who've taken the steps to build this mosque and make life easy for us.Amin. Posted on September 16, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ Well, well. I'm not sure where to start. Suffice to say that this masjid has been under construction for over a decade. The lone PERSON in charge "owns" this place and will not allow anyone in, even if they want to help. The community (mosques, organizations, individuals etc) have tried to approach the guy and offer their help so the masjid can be opened, but to no avail. Xenophobia at its worst!
