Located a block and a half from the Anthropology annex, Masjid ar-Rahman serves as a convenient place of prayer for many students at Tulane University. Most participants walk over to the mosque from Tulane University where many are graduate students or teaching staff. The mosque is located near a bus route which allows easy access from other parts of the city. Multicultural with most worshippers coming from the Middle eastern and Asian countries. ★★★☆☆ I was coming for a business meeting out of town and found this place through zabihah app. I was pretty surprised to see the place completely empty for both the listed jummah Friday prayer time and there after. There's no sign indicating that this is a place to pray. I would just caution confirming whether Friday prayers are taking place here before coming out for that purpose. Posted on October 13, 2017

★★★☆☆ My only complaint is the Mosque should have some type of distinguishing characteristic to let people, especially travelers and/or locals who are new to that part of town that they're at the right place. There is no visible sign or even crescent moon symbol on roof. The neighborhood is a student area that has fraternity houses. Posted on November 10, 2008
