SUFI Central Oxford Mosque (commonly known as Manzil Way Mosque), was first founded in the early 90s as an extension to the Bath Street Mosque; which is recently been refurbished and opend to the worshiper. Thus began the plans to provide a new larger Mosque, situated in the wildly cultivated area of East Oxford; next to the Asian Cultural Centre. The Mosque was finally complete after years of planning and getting Oxford City Council's permission to start building in 2003. However the Mosque did not open it's doors until late 2004, as the Mosque was not fully furbished. Currently the Mosque has an average of over 2000 worshipers attending the Mosque on a weekly basis as well as having over 200 worshipers attending daily. And is presently undergoing more refurbishment to enable diability access.
