SUNNI Also known as Jamia Mosque Farooq e Azam, the Stockton Central Mosque was converted in 1970 from 2 properties, 39-41 Hartington Road, Stockton On Tees. Although the conversion of the two properties was regarded as the best solution at the time, the increase in number of Muslims in the vicinity from generations who attend the mosque has initiated a cause for the mosque committee to re consider the means of meeting existing and future needs to accommodate the growing numbers during congregation at the mosque.
