★★★★☆ Thrilled to find a mosque on the island. Actually a pretty large mosque that is very pretty both inside and outside. On their gates they have the crescent moon symbol. They have a wudu/restroom area in another building just a few steps away that is being renovated. Really really cool to see.
Two quick tips would be that the island in general is not as friendly as other islands and in my brief interactions with the other brothers at the Mosque, they mirrored that. Also, while many people on the island speak english, it is not as common as other carribbean islands so bear that mind both in general and if you visit the Masjid. Now if you happen to fluent in Spanish, Dutch or the native language of Papiamento, you might be in luck. Posted on December 1, 2011
