Also known as Masjid Rehman. Part of the Islamic Society of Greater Houston. Brownsville is located in the far south east of Texas on the Mexican Border about 400 miles south of Houston and about 30 miles from South Padre Island, a well known Spring Break location. The Islamic Center of Brownsville Texas includes Masjid Rehman and a Sunday school. Five daily prayers are established along with Juma prayer at 1:30 PM. We are a small community of about 35 Muslim families.
