Also known as Anjuman-e-Asghari , the Ja'afari Islamic Center is located north of the city of Osseo on Jefferson Highway in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, just north of Minneapolis. It was founded by a diversity of Shi'a brothers and sisters, including East African Khojas, Pakistanis, Iranians, and Iraqis, amongst others. The center hosts regular Thursday night programs, Salaat al-Jumuah, a weekend madressah, sporting events, and youth functions.
