| | ★★★★ I just want to respond to the last comment by saying this masjid does NOT waste your money in any way. It is a nice big masjid but the only problem is the parking. I u are really early u get stuck in the lot while if u go late u get no parking at all |

| | ★★★ A great masjid mashAllah, but it seems that they spend money in extravagence, putting up expensive cosmetics such as a dome.
And they like hold the people (stall prayer) on the 27th night, by doing a huge fundraiser, hiring a special person to come and convince prople to give money to the masjid for some projects. There is no compulsion in religion |

| | ★★★★★ This a mosque I have had the pleasure to see grow from the ground up. I remember when the present congregation prayed in the house next the mosque during the long years of fund raising and construction.
This mosque has a multicultural congregation - predomenently Indo-Pakistani with numbers of Arab, Somali and others. There is a women's section in the basement with a separate entrance on the side of the building. This mosque also has funeral preparation facilities. No one feels out of place.
The mosque is served by a group of 3 to 4 English speaking imams. All are friendly and approachable. Khutbahs are mostly in English, except when there is a visiting scholar from the Subcontinent. Sermans are all down to Earth and applicable in daily life. There are daily hadith readings after Isha and a tafsir of Quran made after Dhuhar salat on Sundays. The Mosque and it's imams are 'tabligi jamaat friendly'.
The only down side to this mosque is the fact that it is chroniclly out of money. Consulting a list of expenses located near the zakat box, one will see that the greatest expense is that of a minaret. The cost of this minaret is in excess of $100,000. Without this minaret project the mosque would have very little debt. The point is that many mosques seem to be deviating from the simplicity advocated by Nabi Muhammad (sws) and are spending excessive amounts on unnecessary cosmetic additions. | | |
