The Muslim community of Cincinnati centers around the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati on Plantation Drive. There are multiple shops and restaurants in the streets around out that are owned and operated by Muslims. There are other restaurants in the area that have begun serving Halal food on some days to cater to a Muslim crowd. As a whole, there is a large amount of diversity of Muslims in the area. I know Black Americans, Black Africans, Arabs, Eastern Europeans, Indians, and converts. I even met someone from the Philippines once. The Muslims here have developed a good relationship with their neighbors and are well received in the community.
