| Masjid Noor-ul-Haram: ★★★★★ Masjid Noor ul Haram is a lovely serene Masjid for both brothers and sisters. The Imam is available anytime for questions and is very approachable. There is Evening / Weekend Madressah and the principal is Maulana Yunus Asfrafi. The syllabus includes:- Arabic for Quran ,Fundamentals of Islam, Hifz-ul-Quran, Tajweed-ul-Quran . There is also Halaqa of Dhikr (Thursdays after Maghrib)
The sistersí prayers area is on the lower floor of the Masjid. It is bright and clean with nice Wudu facility. It can accommodate up to 100 sisters for prayers. There is a good public address system installed at the premises. There are also TV screens installed so that the sisters can listen and view lectures and other events. The Imam wife is always with the sisters during Salah and events. She is very welcoming to new sisters and helpful. (Submitted on September 28, 2006) |
