| Islamic Society of Central Florida: ★★ The women's prayer area is really a seperate building - it looks like it may normally be an indoor basketball court. During Friday prayer they put a large screen tv and sound system to pipe the khateeb's voice and image in. The tv is fuzzy and the sound system is tempermental. If that is "good enough" why don't they put the khateeb in the women's area and let the men watch a snowy picture and listen to far-away voice? (Submitted on September 5, 2006) |
