| Blossom Valley Islamic Community Center: ★★★ I lived in South San Jose for years and never would come across one Muslim women wearing hijab, so it surprised me that there was even a masjed thinking there were no Muslims here. The place for a rental was a dot in the dark, you would never know it was there unless you happen to walk by which was like a 1 in a million chance. I did go in and I saw brothers sitting there. I do not know if they had a sisters entrance. And was surprised to learn from other reviewer that it had grown. (Submitted on January 11, 2012) |
| Muslim Community Association (MCA): ★★★★★ This masjed formerly an HP building. It is huge. During Friday prayer you feel as if you are in the Middle East. The Imam does not know his stuff very well. My husband has corrected him a few times in his speeches, because my husband has attended Al-Azhar University. When my husband asked him for a job his reply was, "We do not know you, so we cannot help you." This comment demonstrates his lack of Islamic knowledge. (Submitted on January 11, 2012) |
