JLRzabihah's recent reviews |
| Masjid Al-Noor: ★★★ There is no separate area for women to perform wudu, so women should used the sinks in one of the two lockable restrooms. The women pray downstairs, but ask the men upstairs to make sure the sound system is turned on if no one knows you are down there. One Fridays, the downstairs area is divided into two sections because all of the men don't fit upstairs. (Submitted on March 2, 2006) |
| Khadeeja Islamic Center: ★★★ The facilities are quite new and usually very clean. There are two separate entrances for women (one either side of the building). If a women needs access to the balcony (where the women pray) and the doors to the women's section are locked, just go inside to where the men are and ask someone to have the doors opened. | Al-Rasool Islamic Center: ★★★ The women's section is at the back of the mosque. A divider is set up sometimes. The regular visitors of the mosque are predominantly arab or persian. Women visitors (even non-muslims) are asked to wear hijab. Sunnis are welcome, and a few regulars are previous sunni muslims or married to sunni muslims. (Submitted on March 2, 2006) |
