| Masjid Al-Islam: ★ I tried to come this masjid yesterday since I was in the neighborhood for work and it appeared closed. The main side facing MacArthur has no windows whatsoever and there is a single door which was closed. I didn't see a back entrance and ended up leaving. Zabihah says it's open for the 5 daily prayers so not sure if it's like other mosques where they are closed immediately after the prayers (I was in the neighborhood a little before 1pm to catch Zuhr). I ended up going to Hayward for a masjid. (Submitted on March 8, 2012) |
| Alameda Muslim League: NR I called this masjid yesterday to see of they were open to avoid coming to a locked masjid and the number seems to be disconnected so I passed and went to another masjid on Hayward. (Submitted on March 8, 2012) |
| Bayview Islamic Unity Center: NR Just called them to see if they had a women's prayer area since I happen to be in SF today and needed a place to pray. The man who answered the phone said that they do not have regular women attendance except on Fridays so they only open the women's area on Friday between 1pm to 2:30pm. So if you are a woman like me then you should look for an alternate place for prayer unless its jummah (Submitted on February 29, 2012) |
