| Musalla As-Salaam: ★★ Musullah is located behind CVS in a strip surrounded by Arab Muslim owned businesses including a barbershop, clothing/book store, and halal restaurant. Convenient if you are in the area but slightly unkempt and very Arab-centric. (Submitted on July 8, 2014) |
| Masjid Al Huda: ★★★ Nice small masjid in a strip mall, been open since Ramadan of 2013. Community seems very diverse and welcoming. Salatul jummah is prayed around 1:30pm.
May Allah bless the community and allow it to grow within the coming years. (Submitted on June 15, 2014) |
| Islamic Center of Deltona : ★★★ Masjid is located on the 3rd floor of an office suite. The rest of the building looks as though it's under renovation. (Submitted on June 15, 2014) |
| Islamic Center of Central Brevard: ★★★ Went here for salatul jummah about a year or so back, expected there to be a lot more people but there was maybe 2 rows of brothers and a handful of sisters. The masjid is fairly big which made the crowed seem even smaller. Overall pleasant experience though, hoping to visit again soon inshallah. (Submitted on June 15, 2014) |
| Islamic Center of Clermont: NR I was informed by a member of the Clermont community that the masjid will be using the Lost Lake Road address for this coming Ramadan since the facility is already set up however all other operations have been moved to the masjid's new location, 12200 Hancock Rd
Clermont, FL 34711. (Submitted on June 15, 2014) |
| Shamsuddin Masjid & Library: ★★★ Masjid is located in an office plaza which is not readily visible from the road. There was no sign from the parking lot but the masjid does in fact exist. Looks newly renovated. (Submitted on March 29, 2014) |
| Masjid Al Salaam: ★★★ Went here to pray Maghrib but unfortunately the masjid was closed. Waited for a while and eventually just ended up praying outside by the wudu stations. The masjid seems nice from the outside. I hope to revisit one day when it's open inshallah. (Submitted on November 29, 2013) |
| Islamic Society of New Tampa: ★★★★★ Very beautiful masjid mashallah and vibrant diverse community. Visited recently and had a pleasant experience. Hope to return with my family for a future trip inshallah. (Submitted on November 29, 2013) |
| Masjid Abu Bakr: ★★ Went here not too long ago. Nice to know there is a masjid in that area but from the time I walked in to the time I left I did not hear a word of English. The community seems predominately desi. Which was strange considering the khutbah was done entirely in Arabic, although I don't believe that was the khateeb's native tongue. Overall an ok experience but the community has a lot of growing to do. They served nice biryani afterwards though, can't beat free masjid biryani. (Submitted on July 18, 2013) |
| American Muslim Community Center: ★★★★★ I had the honor of attending the very first jummah khutbah which was held today. Very impressive facilities mashallah. They just opened for 5 daily prayers and salatul jummah this past week. Seems very promising. Can't wait to visit more inshallah. I hope they remain as open minded and welcoming for years to come iA. | Jacksonville Masjid of Al-Islam: ★★★ Stopped by this masjid during a trip to Jacksonville with my wife. It's located in a not so great area of town however I was pleased to find a masjid there to service the community. The members of the congregation seemed friendly and welcoming. I didn't notice any designated parking area which leads me to believe that you just have to park in the surrounding streets. I'd like to return to in the future if given the chance inshallah. | Islamic Center of Northeast Florida: ★★★★★ Visited this masjid with my wife recently for a program they were having. The first thing that impressed us was the courtyard as soon as you drive into the parking lot situated with nice benches and simply makes you feel welcomed.
When you enter the masjid, there is a short hallway leading to a common-area used by everyone to congregate and socialize etc. The mussullah itself if clean (ascetically speaking) and a nice atmosphere. The sisters area is situated to the side with access (both visual and audio) to the Imam/brothers section. It looks like the upstairs is used for overflow or probably for the sisters during salatul jummah. The community itself seemed diverse and lively (filled with many youth alhamdulilah). Would definitely love to revisit in the future inshallah. (Submitted on March 30, 2012) |
| Masjid Ebad Al Rahman: ★★★★ My wife and I went here when passing through the area for a visit. The facilities are pleasant and the masjid is equipped with a full basket ball court behind it.
We attended for salatul jummah and the first part of the jummah khutbah was done in completely in Arabic and the second half in English. Mashallah the khateeb had excellent recitation.
The community seemed mixed in cultures and in all everyone seemed very welcoming and kind. My wife also had the same experience. We would like to revisit on future trips to the area iA. (Submitted on December 30, 2011) |
| Masjid Al Hamza: ★★★ This masjid was a bit difficult to locate as the address would not pull up accurately in my gps.I did call the number and alhamdulilah a sister answered and provided me with directions to properly find the place. If you're unfamiliar with the area, you may have do some searching before you find it, as it is a small structure off the side of the road.
The mens bathroom was a tad shady (what with flickering lights and all) however the musullah is tidy and well put together.
It seems like the community is currently small, nonetheless it's nice to have a masjid on the coast and so close to the beach. (Submitted on December 30, 2011) |
