| Masjid Ibrahim: ★★★ If I'm not mistaken, this masjid was converted from a laundromat. There is a curtain dividing the brothers' and sisters' sides. It is very small, but the people there were very welcoming. And I believe it's the closest thing to Fort Benning. Many officers from other countries frequent there. (Submitted on July 25, 2014) |
| Alianza Islámica: NR The number listed belongs to a brother that was once part of Alianza Islamica before it burned down according to him. (Submitted on June 4, 2011) |
| Masjid Ar-Rahman: ★★★★ Enjoyed the khutba when I went. I was also very pleased with the diversity. However, it gets EXTREMELY crowded during jum'uah and consequently, very hot. Some brothers have to pray outside. Addtionally, sisters have a very humble prayer area. This masjid should definitely invest in expanding--seriously! Other than that, good place. There's two halal restaurants in the vicinity. (Submitted on March 19, 2011) |
| Madina Masjid: ★★★★ Not a lot to talk about here. Typical masjid. (Submitted on March 19, 2011) |
| 38th Street Mosque: NR Hard to find. It's in a pretty shady building, and the hours are sorta inconvenient. (Submitted on March 19, 2011) |
| Masjid Manhattan: NR This place does not have any markings to indicate qiblah. Unless you happen to be there for a communal prayer, you're gonna have to find some way to figure it out. (Submitted on March 17, 2011) |
| PrayerSpace NYC: NR Went there and it wasn't within sight. Could someone enlighten me? (Submitted on March 14, 2011) |
| Islamic Center at NYU: NR I was very disappointed to find this place closed due to spring break. If the local brothers and sisters depend on it, it should be available at all times. The place is really difficult to find, too. It was a red door that led to a catholic chapel among other offices, as well. I didn't expect any of this from the description given. | Islamic Society of Monterey County: ★★★★ The people at this Masjid are pretty friendly. Felt very welcome there. I was kinda wondering why one of the brothers took me (a convert) for a ride while there was a lecture giving to non-Muslim students from a local university. To this day I wonder. Other than that, it's a great place to pray. (Submitted on December 21, 2010) |
| Islamic Society of Monmouth County: ★★★ Really nice-looking masjid in Monmouth County. I was pretty disappointed in the amount of time it took me to finally get a hold of someone there, though. It'd be nice if everything was a a bit more structured.
Good people, though. (Submitted on December 21, 2010) |
