Bethesda United Church of Christ : NR This isn't a masjid, but ICM holds satellite Jumah salat here around 1:10 pm on Fridays. Also holds Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan. (Submitted on February 23, 2012)
Islamic Society of Vermont: ★★★★ Good sized masjid that was pretty clean with nice wudu facilities. Nice to see a functional masjid in a relatively remote area. (Submitted on December 27, 2010)
Islamic Information Centre: ★★ Located in a house on a busy side street in Ottawa. There is no indication on the outside that it has a prayer area. The women's area is in the basement and is only accessible from a tiny door on the side. It's good to have a place to pray near downtown Ottawa, but the facilities are sub-part, particularly for sisters. (Submitted on September 4, 2010)
Medina Center: ★★★★ I went to this masjid recently, it's a very nicely setup house. The thing is, it isn't used for daily salah, and seems to function generally for jumah only. (Submitted on April 10, 2010)
Dar Al-Noor Islamic Community Center: ★★★★★ I've been here a few times while passing through the area, this is a very pretty masjid, with good-looking and clean facilities. It seems to have a strong community, and the people I met there were nice. (Submitted on December 3, 2009)
Masjid Ebad Al Rahman: NR I didn't go inside the masjid, but I can confirm that it is there and appears to be active. It's located on a small side street but has a parking lot. (Submitted on September 17, 2008)
ICNA: ★★★ Functional mosque, clean, not huge, but it has parking in the back. Can get packed on Jumah, so come early. (Submitted on January 12, 2007)
Islamic Heritage Center: ★★★★ This is a storefront masjid located in a strip mall at the intersection of Park and Cedar. The masjid has daily iftars where there is a small but good community that gathers together. (Submitted on October 9, 2006)
Muslim World League: ★★★★ The masjid is pretty big and is located inside a building. Jumah can get packed but the large size makes it relatively comfortable. It has a women's area and big wudhu/bahtroom facilities in the basement. (Submitted on August 18, 2006)
Acton Mosque: ★★★ The mosque is undergoing renovations to expand its size. They hold all services, juma and Eid salat. The leadership of the mosque is Asian, a lot of talks are given in Urdu. (Submitted on August 18, 2006)
| Markazi Mosque: ★★★ This is a predominantly Bengali mosque in East London. The mosque is located in an old school. Pretty big prayer area, although I don't think it has an area for women. The bathrooms are substandard. (Submitted on August 18, 2006) | |
