| Al Quds Moschee: ★ I've only been to this place once, but I will definitely not go back! The washrooms are unclean, and the ladies in the women's prayer room seemed pretty judgmental: I was dressed in a way that I haven't had problems with at other mosques, but in this one they felt they had to "correct" my clothing seconds before I started my prayer.
The area is also not very nice if that counts for anything. Definitely not an area a woman should go after dark. (Submitted on September 16, 2009) |
| Islamisches Zentrum Hamburg: ★★★★ This one actually looks like a proper mosque!! It's a really nice building and the inside is really, really beautiful! Very active mosque with lots of lectures, halaqas and other events.
It's mainly Shi'a, but I didn't feel uncomfortable there as a Sunni Muslim. (Submitted on September 16, 2009) |
