| Dar-al-Taqwa: ★★★★★ ماشاء الله
A beautiful mosque, big with plenty of parking. Clean from the inside and out. It is in a very nice area surrounded with public parks. I was in the area for my son's soccer Tournament. It is worth the visit. (Submitted on March 22, 2014) |
| Albanian American Islamic Center: ★★★★ ما شاء الله
A very nice masjid, easy to recognize and find. Reasonable parking space and a nice Wudu area, mostly Albanians. They were friendly and welcoming. (Submitted on January 22, 2014) |
| Masjid An-Nur: ★★★★ Masha Allah, a very nice mosque, big parking lot. (Submitted on December 27, 2013) |
| Islamic Society of Sarasota & Bradenton: ★★★★ MA, a wonderful masjid, the best I have seen during my travel. It is a new building, built as a masjid, very beautiful architecture. Very clean, with ample parking lot, very convenient Wudu' area. Unfortunately, we did not meet anyone when we went there, it was right before Maghreb on a Friday night. May Allah accept their effort. | Afghan Islamic Center: ★★★★ MA, a nice masjid, close to the highway. The masjid is clean, roomy and bright. We went for Zuhr, there were few people. They were friendly and welcoming. It was easy to find. (Submitted on November 17, 2012) |
| Masjid Shuhada: ★★★★ MA, a nice masjid when you need it the most. If you take your kids to sports tournaments in the Fort Dix area, this is a nice place where you can pray. It is difficult to locate, although it is on a main road, the sign is small. The interior is clean and comfortable. The people are welcoming and friendly. (Submitted on November 10, 2012) |
| Institute of Islamic Studies: ★★★★ We stopped in our way to ISNA. MA, very clean and spacious mosque, with plenty of parking. People are friendly. The khuttbah was relevant. As it is in a business building, it was not very apparent. We lucked out as we saw people turning on to the parking lot. (Submitted on September 6, 2012) |
| Masjid Al-Ihsaan: ★★★★ Very nice masjid. I attended the Friday prayer during my visit to Miami. I tried to call to get the time of the prayer, but got no response. The Khutbah was in English and very beneficial. (Submitted on January 14, 2012) |
| Islamic Center of Brandon: ★★★★ Very nice, but small mosque. I attended the last portion of the Friday prayer. The Imam recitation is so beautiful. The people are nice, MA. When I called to ask about the time, a very nice brother answered and was very helpful. (Submitted on December 2, 2011) |
| Islamic Center of Harrison: ★★★★ I was in Newark for my son's soccer practice. It is a very nice, MA, but small masjid, very clean. The brothers were very friendly and welcoming. Parking was a bit difficult. It is so close to the Red Bull Soccer Arena. There is no excuse to go to the Arena and miss your prayer. May Allah accept their effort, and ours. (Submitted on July 22, 2011) |
| Islamic Education Center of Tampa: ★★★★ It exists, though the phone number did not work when I tried it. I went there for Friday prayer.
The mosque is nice. It is easy to get to. The Khutbah was in English, I enjoyed
it. There were not many people and they were friendly. It was my first time as
Sunni to pray in a shia masjid. I felt the brotherhood and the commonality. (Submitted on January 9, 2011) |
