Muslim World LeagueThe masjid is pretty big and is located inside a building. Jumah can get packed but the large size makes it relatively comfortable. It has a women's area and big wudhu/bahtroom facilities in the basement. (Submitted on 2006-08-18)
Shepherd's Bush Mosque & Muslim Cultural CentreMosque located near Shepherd's Bush tube line and on busy Uxbridge road opposite Damas Gate market. Clean mosque with good turnouts for prayers. The bathrooms are clean. (Submitted on 2006-08-18)
Acton MosqueThe mosque is undergoing renovations to expand its size. They hold all services, juma and Eid salat. The leadership of the mosque is Asian, a lot of talks are given in Urdu. (Submitted on 2006-08-18)
Markazi MosqueThis is a predominantly Bengali mosque in East London. The mosque is located in an old school. Pretty big prayer area, although I don't think it has an area for women. The bathrooms are substandard. (Submitted on 2006-08-18)
Masjid Al-RehmanMasjid located between 5th and Broadway, located between two halal restaurants, only blocks from Madison Square Park. Clean masjid, has men's wudhu. The women's area is small, but they don't have wudhu for women, although there is a bathroom for sisters, but it is not always open. A good option for brothers, I think women might find it lacking due to the wudhu situation, although you can do wudhu in one of the neigboring restaurants. It is a new mosque, so it is still growing. London Central MosqueBeautiful mosque in a beautiful location. The presence of Regent's Park right next to the mosque adds to its allure. (Submitted on 2005-06-17)
Islamic Cultural Center of New YorkGreat masjid, has a diverse group of Muslims. The masjid is kept in great shape, beautiful to the eye, and is accomodating to a diverse array of Muslims. Also has a small shop in the first floor, and is always open. (Submitted on 2005-06-15)
Islamic Society of Mid-ManhattanGood location, mosque is located up the stairs from a small entrance on 55th street, can be hard to find. It was relatively clean. (Submitted on 2005-06-15)
Islamic Society of BostonMajor mosque in the Boston area, located near Central Square in Cambridge. Has all prayer services, easy to get to, has a good community, and strives to maintain it as such. (Submitted on 2005-06-15)
Harvard Islamic SocietyThe musallah is usually empty, but Jumah attracts a good number of people, both Harvard and non-Harvard affiliates. The musallah requires a Harvard ID to access. (Submitted on 2005-06-15)
Islamic Association of Long IslandGrowing mosque located in Suffolk County. Has a good community, with schools for children in both summer and during the school year. Mosque is clean, and comfortable. Sisters section is large and comfortable as well. (Submitted on 2005-06-15)
Stony Brook University MSAGreat organization, many comitted Muslims building a strong community at Stony Brook. (Submitted on 2005-06-15)
