Description: Most of the Muslims in this area are students and live in College Station near Texas A&M; University. There are also some Muslims who work at the University as faculty or staff, and a few who work or own businesses in the area and its surroundings. These Muslims established the Muslim Students Association (MSA) of Texas A&M; University which was affiliated with the national MSA. In February 1988, the MSA chapter was evolved into the Islamic Community of Bryan/College Station (ICBCS), and it became affiliated with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). Run by a 9-member elected committee.
